Bicyclist killed in southwest Phoenix crash

4/21/2017 ~4am. Bicyclist 24-year-old Devin Williams was killed at a signalized intersection 51st Ave & Baseline, Phoenix,  in early morning hours crash. Police said the bicyclist was going against the light.

April 21, 2017 Phoenix police were investigating a crash that killed a bicyclist near 51st Avenue and Baseline Road early Friday.
Police say the bicyclist, identified as 24-year-old Devin Williams, was riding south on 51st Avenue at 4 a.m. when he entered the intersection against a red light at Baseline Road.
Williams collided with an eastbound pickup truck that was going through the intersection on a green light, according to Sgt. Alan Pfohl, a Phoenix police spokesman.
Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.
Pfohl said the driver of the pickup, a 31-year-old man, remained at the scene and was not impaired at the time of the crash.
