Crash October 13, 2017 ~ 1:30pm La Cañada (a.k.a. Rancho Resort Road) and Sahuarita Road. The description from the new report was, a driver “traveling north on [presumably South] La Cañada [Drive] collided with the bicyclist at the intersection of Sahuarita Road as the bicyclist tried to turn north [i.e. a right turn] from westbound Sahuarita Road”
It isn’t clear how or why a crash could occur given those travel directions or how the traffic signal was involved.
The bicyclist, Tim Breslin, died in November while hospitalized from injuries. According to this gofundme page, he passed away on Nov 10. As such this fatality would “count” as a traffic fatality for statistical purposes (within 30 days)
