Bike rider struck and killed when he crosses in front of vehicle on 28th Ave and McDowell

This incident never made the news; though it was accurately described by accidentdatacenter.com at the time; though the wording was a little strange, I mean for example “He came out of nowhere and crossed in front of them,” doesn’t sound like something a Phoenix PIO would say.

So I corroborated the time/date with 2014 data, this is adot incident 2812239; Phoenix FileNumber 201400045829 (i haven’t looked for the ACR).

The data describes a cyclist crossing mid-block (i.e. neither unit was turning; their directions were perpendicular).
