  ElliotAndI10.jpg - Elliot Road facing west picturing WB traffic coming from I-10 interchange (city of Phoenix).The inset shows the gutter pan is relatively wide (almost exactly 2 feet -- yes my shoes are about 1 foot each!)The lanes are something like 11'. This amount of space if often wrongly perceived by motorists as sharable side-by-side. I think EB is similarly annoying; possibly worse because if i remember correctly there is no RTO lane to enter I-10 eastbound, and this sets up overtaking/right hook problems.Ray/I-10 and Warner/I-10 is set up with nice narrow lanes. Chandler/I-10 is set up with nice wide lanes. Elliot/I-10 is a bastard. Neither fish nor fowl.(speaking only of the Phoenix/West side of I-10).
