I think this is the bus stop that got rammed; the streets mentioned in the azfamily piece seem confusing, it appears to be Greenway just east of Waltann Lane.
Seriously, how often does stuff like this happen? Maybe more often than you think; this one was not unlike another driver who drove up and killed some people at a phoenix bus stop just a couple of weeks ago. If you listen to the victim-blamers (see e.g. phoenix city council’s rejection of vision zero), they’ll tell you that the pedestrian safety problem revolves around drunk and otherwise careless pedestrians, and there’s absolutely nothing that can or should be done to keep these people from hurting themselves.
