  chand3.jpg - Chandler Blvd westbound, just east of Desert Foothills Parkway. Someone from the city went out of their way to make this look like a bike lane (it is not; the bike lane begins just west of DFP) -- going so far as to "erase" and move the edge and center stripe. The section in the foreground is plenty (probably 6 feet) wide, however the edgeline tapers dramatically toward the intersection. A REAL bike lane begins ahead, across the intersection. The BL sign is just barely visible in this shot.
