I have Windows 7 Retail (a.k.a. build 7600, and RTM) loaded up on a "trial" (30 day) basis -- it works GREAT on the wind.

MSI Wind is basically good for net surfing and some light applications. for heavy gaming and multi-tasking apps, i would still use those heavy, bulky laptops.

Hi, I stuffed up with the recovery partition on my MSI Wind U100. Is there any way i can get it back?

At the moment I cant use my recovery partition to restore my system. I have another cd of windows XP but that probably doesnt have the drivers for MSI Wind SATA.

So I'm just wondering if i can get an image of the whole hard drive. That restores the hidden recovery partition and c and d drives.

Thanks

hmmm, If I recall correctly; there is a program that runs in windows to create a recovery DVD (well, it creates an iso image; then you burn it elsewhere) -- would that help?
